MTN Group has a common education program for the revenue assurance and fraud management staff working across all its national operations. The success of this program was recognized last week, with Tony Sani, the executive with responsibility for RAFM across MTN Group, receiving the Outstanding Contribution prize at the Subex Excellence Awards. So now is a good time to remind ourselves of the talk given by Marcus Bryant (pictured above), a colleague of Tony, to the summer conference of the Risk & Assurance Group (RAG).
Marcus’ presentation influenced RAG to explore the viability of creating its own RAG education program for the industry. During his well-received talk, Marcus spoke about the factors considered when deciding how best to deliver an education program across a wide range of geographically distributed opcos. You can watch a video recording of that five-minute segment below.
Interesting discussion topic that sometimes is forgotten within the RA/FM maturity. Despite working in a software vendor we are following the same path and I can see ourselves reflected in some of the pains and rewards that are here mentioned here for training, namely the online training. Developing a training program it’s by itself a learning curve where engagement levels should be one of drivers (why not a KPI?) for the ones that create the content. Good luck Marcus Bryant on this mission.
