50 Reasons to Attend the London RAG

Do you think I cannot give you 50 reasons to attend the London Conference of the Risk & Assurance Group (RAG)? I can. To begin with, there are the speakers. These are just some of the telcos who will be on stage:

Orange Group, MTN Group, Vodafone, Three, Tesco Mobile, T-Mobile Czech Republic, Colt, NOS, O2, and our host telco, BT.

So there are 10 good reasons already, and I did not bother listing all the other telcos and organizations represented on an agenda that includes over 30 expert speakers.

Then there are the people you will meet. We have attracted participants from:

Spotify, Virgin Media, Millicom, TalkTalk, Experian, Tata, Proximus, Gamma Telecom, Orange Slovak Republic, Slovak Telecom, Saudi Telecom, First Utility, Fujitsu, Visa, Travelport, Carphone Warehouse, Ocado, Giffgaff, Tele2 and Level 3.

So there are another 20 reasons. And that is not the full list of who is coming. If I gave you the full list it would have started with Apply Mobile and ended with Zain Kuwait.

But I know you are difficult to satisfy. 30 good reasons are not enough, because you are an important, busy person. Very well. Then let me give you 20 more reasons to come:

A great venue in central London. Comfortable seating for 170. A half-day risk seminar from a professional trainer. An agenda decided by experts. Real-time smartphone polls. An update on the development of an online education program. An update on the campaign to seize the profits of fraud. The results of a new risk survey. The launch of a new fraud survey. A review of recent security incidents. Evening buffet, drinks and networking. Lunch and coffee breaks included. A wonderful host. The best chairman in the business. Our closing ‘wise heads’ panel. Dan Baker flying in from the USA. Tony Poulos flying in from who-knows-where. An event sponsored by all the market leaders in our field. And we know what we are talking about because RAG has been bringing risk and assurance professionals together since 2004.

Oh wait… that was only 19 reasons. I cannot fool you because you are the kind of person who keeps count. Now I need to think of another reason. Give me a second. I know there must be some other reason for you to join us. Let me think… what other reason would encourage you to come? Ah yes, now I remember…

It is all free.

So I gave you 50 reasons, and I could give you even more if you really needed them. But stop me now, because I am sounding like one of those crazy guys in the TV adverts that offer the mega deals and the low-low prices. Let us agree I have 50 reasons for you to come to RAG London on March 15th and 16th, whilst you do not have 50 reasons to be somewhere else. Register here, and I look forward to seeing you soon!
