CFCA and FIINA to Run Joint Lisbon Fraud Event Ahead of WeDo WUG

Both conferences will be at the same venue in Lisbon. They will run consecutively for the week of 9th to 13th May.

The Communications Fraud Control Association (CFCA) and the Forum for the International Irregular Network Access (FIINA), two of the leading anti-fraud bodies in the comms sector, have announced they will hold another joint educational event for fraud professionals, to take place in Lisbon Portugal from 9th to 11th May 2016.

It is a sign of important trends in our field that the event is scheduled for the same week as WeDo’s Worldwide User Group (WUG), which will be held at the same venue, the EPIC SANA hotel (pictured above). WeDo’s user conference will follow the CFCA/FIINA event and conclude on May 13th. Portuguese multiplay operator NOS are described as the hosts for the CFCA/FIINA event, whilst WeDo are listed as its platinum sponsor.

Registration for the CFCA/FIINA event will be free. In addition to speakers from NOS, the organizers have also lined up presentations from AT&T, Sky UK, and KT. However, the agenda has yet to be finalized. Anyone wishing to submit a topic for presentation is encouraged to contact Jason Lane-Sellers of the CFCA. Jason’s contact details, and more information about the CFCA/FIINA event can be found by downloading this flyer.
