Al Jazeera's Investigative Unit used hidden cameras to record the criminal dealings of tech suppliers that sell IMSI-catchers and other tools that invade people's privacy.

This documentary from Al Jazeera’s Investigative Unit goes undercover to reveal a lot of uncomfortable truths about the way modern electronic comms, and the law, is being subverted for the sake ever increasing espionage. Entitled ‘Spy Merchants’, the documentary shows how tech suppliers bend and break the rules in order to sell spyware. The program reveals the illegal supply of IMSI-catchers and IP intercept systems.
