New Training Courses and Providers on RAG Learning

Business continuity expert Laura Toplis has made her popular BCM course freely available through RAG's online training platform. RAG has also added an all-new short course on statistics and sampling.

As RAG Learning continues to expand its user base both registrations and enrollments have increased. Over the past month we have seen traffic come mostly from Poland, USA, Pakistan, Australia, India and South Africa. Over the past two months, I have also noted a significant rise in the number of enrollments for the Risk Management course.  Finally, while all content remains free to take, some students have chosen to pay to receive a certificate of completion which they have shared on Linkedin.

Besides the existing eight courses from MTN Group, two new courses have been added. Each comes from a new provider of training material.

Laura Toplis of BCP Builder has shared a course entitled “Introduction to Business Continuity Management” with the community.  The content of this course is based on the Business Continuity Institute Good Practice Guidelines and the requirements of the ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management Standard. Students will receive training on the six professional practices included in the Business Continuity Management lifecycle. After completing this course, they will be ready to create their own Business Continuity Management system.

The Risk & Assurance Group has also created an entirely-new course for the first time, with Chief Executive Eric Priezkalns sharing a course called “Calculating Sample Sizes for Assurance: A Worked Example”. The course examines key concepts in statistical sampling for assurance professionals while walking learners through solving a challenge drawn from real life.

We welcome feedback on the platform and invite everyone wishing to share their content with the community to contact us.
