Poulos on Security and Neutrality

Tony Poulos, the inimitable 'insider', has written another great blog comparing cybersecurity goals with net neutrality aspirations - and questioning how consistent they are. Yes, I know Tony is always writing great blogs, but anyone interested in both security and net neutrality should definitely take a look; see the post here. For me, the key point is that the comms industry - and those overseeing it - are great at espousing various objectives, but weak at identifying and handling the contradictions that sometimes arise between them. Tony is unusual as pundits go, as he is not afraid to dive head-first into grey areas that others prefer to leave deliberately vague. In fact, it is a recurring theme in his writing, and just one of the good reasons to follow his output.
