Prashanthi Koutha works for Netflix in the capacity of Senior Risk Engineer, a role which draws upon her strengths in cybersecurity, technology and quantified risk management.
Prior to joining Netflix in 2019, Prashanthi spent over three years as a specialist managing the cybersecurity risks of Walmart.
Alongside her responsibilities at Netflix, Prashanthi is a a Technical Advisory Board Member for RiskLens, providing them with guidance on the development of their software and services based on current and emerging strategic and technical issues.
Prashanthi has obtained the Open Group’s Open FAIR Foundation Certification and has also completed the GIAC Information Security Fundamentals. She has a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
