Lorene Hunt works for Australian telco Optus, where her role is Commercial Director, Networks & Strategic Vendor Management. In this position she is responsible for overseeing the operator’s network assets, ensuring that all inventory is accounted for.
Lorene joined Optus in May 2018, bringing with her a wide variety of experience as a senior finance professional. She was previously: Head of Finance for the New Zealand business of GlaxoSmithKline (GSK); Senior Commercial Finance Manager at British American Tobacco; Group Manager for Risk Management, Compliance and Financial Services at TelstraClear; and an Auditor at Ernst & Young.
Lorene studied at the University of Auckland.
