Commsrisk provides news coverage, and so relies upon the doctrine of fair usage to reproduce some copyright material without first asking for permission. Such material includes quotes from other news sources and technical documents, as well as photographs and other images taken from the promotional materials of vendors. We work on the basis that the owner of the property rights, and hence our reliance upon fair usage, will be evident from the material reproduced, without the need for further explanation.
