Recent results highlight that Alltel’s subscriber base has been shrinking at around 5% per quarter since it was acquired by Atlantic Tele-Network in the middle of 2010; prior to the deal, Allnet had around 800,000 subscribers, mainly in rural states. Recent cVidya marketing has put more focus on smaller telcos, with solutions provided via the ‘cloud’.
