The Blackphone 2, a privacy-oriented smartphone manufactured by Silent Circle, is now available for purchase. The successor to the Blackphone has a larger screen, an Octa-core Qualcomm processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a Micro SD card slot, as well as a 13-megapixel camera. The phone’s operating system is a fork from Android, adapted by Silent Circle to harden its security. However, Silent Circle are seeking to make the handset attractive to businessmen who will use it as their primary phone, both in work and at play. Check out the promotional video below.
