Chris Poulton is a business advisor who has a deep knowledge of customer centricity and the role of regulation for telcos and utilities.
Between 2014 and 2018 Chris was a Managing Director of Ofgem, the UK’s energy regulator. In this role he oversaw Ofgem’s delivery function. Chris was a member of the Ofgem Senior Leadership Team, and he reported to the Ofgem board.
Prior to joining Ofgem, Chris held a series of senior management roles in telecoms businesses. This included Head of Customer Operations for Talkmobile, an MVNO, and Head of Billing and Customer Finance at TalkTalk Group. He has also worked in credit, collections and fraud-related roles at Carphone Warehouse, Centrica Telecoms and OneTel.
Chris is a graduate of the University of Warwick where he studied Biology and Business Studies.
