April 2020 was the sixth most popular month since Commsrisk began publishing articles over 13 years ago, but it was only the second most popular month since the beginning of this year. The article which received most unique pageviews during April, which concerned the arrests of telco executives in Tanzania, achieved the rare feat of topping the charts for two months consecutively, and already ranks as the tenth most viewed article in Commsrisk’s history. However, every article in this monthly chart received well above the average number of views compared to articles published during 2019. The articles which placed second, third and fourth in this chart each received enough pageviews to have topped most monthly charts during 2019.
