Euro-Information Telecom (EI Telecom) has purchased Xintec’s FMSevolution product, primarily to combat International Revenue Share Fraud (IRSF). The price was not disclosed. EI Telecom is reportedly the largest MVNO in France, with 1.4 million customers. Xintec (logo pictured) is an Irish vendor of RA and FMS solutions, principally aimed at smaller telcos and supplied via the cloud. Their offering is augmented by a partnership with Colin Yates Consulting, giving them access to a database of 100,000 test call numbers for use in detecting fraud.
