Good User Stats for RAG Learning Platform

As you might already know the Risk & Assurance Group (RAG) announced a beta trial of their online training platform, RAG Learning, two weeks ago at their London conference. At the moment the course catalogue consists of exactly one course; an “Introduction to Interconnection” which was donated by MTN Group. MTN has developed its own internal RAFM training modules which it is now providing to the world via RAG.

The initial response to the announcement was encouraging. As I witnessed first hand from the number of people that approached me during the breaks at RAG London, the RAFM community welcomed and embraced the new offering. But don’t take my word for it. Let’s explore some figures.

At the moment RAG Learning has 83 registered users who have enrolled for the course, of which 56 were active in the past 7 days. These come from a variety of companies: telcos and RAFM vendors, as well as a variety of countries as you can see below (darker colour means more users):

This is the first step on the journey of online RAFM training. We intend to host more content from MTN and other companies willing to contribute. In addition, we are working on improving the setup. In the future, we hope to organise the content so that users can obtain certificates for individual courses they choose to take.

As this is a beta trial we are keen to receive your feedback.

If you have not used RAG Learning yet then look below for a short video demonstration of the platform and the first course. Or you could simply jump on to RAG Learning, create a free account and give it a try.
