Jiles Smith, Frontier Communications

Jiles Smith WCCP, CPDM, EP is the Director of Risk Management and Claims at Frontier Communications. He has three decades of experience in the design, implementation and administration of risk management programs and budgets, spanning both the public and private sector.

Jiles has numerous professional qualifications, including: the Executive Program in Safety Management (EP) from ASSP; Certified Risk Manager from the University of California, Riverside; and Certified Professional Disability Manager (CPDM) from the Insurance Educational Association. Jiles is a Sociology graduate from California State University, Stanislaus, and he is currently studying for a Masters in Risk Management at Concordia University, Nebraska.

Alongside his regular work for Frontier Communications, Jiles also makes time to support his community in various ways. He is an Instructor at the University of California, Riverside, where he teaches about risk management, inclusion and conflict resolution. Jiles is the host of a community cable show in the San Bernardino area, where he talks to local leaders about topical issues affecting the region. He is also the CEO of the Community Youth Athletic/Academic program in Apple Valley, California, which is a program designed to promote health and sportsmanship whilst educating children and young adults to become good and productive citizens.
