Julianne works as the Director of Industry Affairs and Content at the UCC, the comms regulator for Uganda. She joined the UCC in August 2018 after leaving MTN Uganda, where she worked for almost 18 years.
Julianne has a deep knowledge of roaming and the inter-operation of telcos; at MTN Uganda she served as the Senior Manager for Carrier Relations, and also as the Senior Accountant for Interconnection and Roaming, at MTN Uganda. Julianne also has significant experience in the areas of competition, consumer protection, and economic regulation. She is skilled in planning, project management, and team leadership.
Julianne graduated with an Msc in Telecommunications Management from the Stevens Institute of Technology.
