# KPMG Style Without Substance

What were they thinking? Make a slick and moody video that is more Kubrick than KPMG. Include some half-facts and out-of-date data. Sit back and wait for foolish customers to buy revenue assurance from you. When they do, employ someone like me to actually do the work. Take a large margin, some of which goes to pay off the huge marketing budget, the rest of which goes straight into the pockets of the partners. Well, I guess it probably works sometimes. Check out [KPMG’s marketing video for revenue assurance](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8K4GYn5QtI), but please do not take it seriously. Despite the science fiction graphics, the underlying scare story does not point to the future of revenue assurance, but rather to its past.
