Connectiva Systems, the risk management and revenue assurance software firm, has obtained a further US$17m of VC funding. See the press release on Connectiva’s site.

Eric is also the Chief Executive of the Risk & Assurance Group (RAG), a global association of professionals working in risk management and business assurance for communications providers.
Previously Eric was Director of Risk Management for Qatar Telecom and he has worked with Cable & Wireless, T‑Mobile, Sky, Worldcom and other telcos. He was lead author of Revenue Assurance: Expert Opinions for Communications Providers, published by CRC Press. He is a qualified chartered accountant, with degrees in information systems, and in mathematics and philosophy.
$17 million sounds like a heck of a lot of cash to play with. We did some research once and were warned agaist seeking VC money. Apparently you can easily end up with mere single digit % control of a company that you set up…although the press releases today always make it sound like a great thing in the RA industry.
I’d also be interested to know what they do for C & W.
