NowSecure Says Leaky Apps Greater Risk Than Mobile Malware

Andrew Hoog, CEO of NowSecure, says 60 percent of mobile apps suffer at least one high-risk security flaw.

According to Andrew Hoog, CEO of NowSecure, testing by his firm has revealed 60 percent of mobile apps have at least one high-risk security flaw. He told FierceMobileIT:

…we find that there are a lot of flaws in mobile apps that put devices, individuals and enterprises at risk.

NowSecure makes mobile apps that tell users where their data is going, which apps are sending the data, what security protects the data, and whether an app or operating system has security weaknesses.
