Syniverse, the technology vendor headquartered in Tampa, USA, has announced it has won a ‘multi-year’ deal to provide fraud management and revenue assurance services to Roshan, the largest telecommunications company in Afghanistan. The price was not disclosed.
The press release offered very few details about the services that will be provided to Roshan, or why Syniverse was chosen as their supplier. However, the announcement did highlight the importance of predictive analytics for fraud management. The topic of fraud management dominated the announcement, with very little mention of revenue assurance.
