Assurance, analytics and optimization business TEOCO has acquired specialist data processing and analytics solutions provider PreClarity for an undisclosed price.
The deal will see PreClarity founders Bob Becklund and Rick Mahuson join TEOCO as they integrate their company’s main product, Conductor, into TEOCO’s portfolio. Per the press release, Conductor will…
…provide an agile and rapid development environment, focused on supporting proof of concept and R&D projects. TEOCO will look to harness all complementary performance enhancements that Conductor is currently delivering to a variety of tier one operators, processing more than one billion transactions per day.
TEOCO, which stands for The Employee Owned Company, is estimated to generate annual revenues of over USD150mn. Built up by Chairman and CEO Atul Jain (pictured above) since he founded the business in 1995, TEOCO has previously purchased Radio Access Networks experts AIRCOM and Schema, and service assurance business TTI.
Telcos are processing ever increasing volumes of data, so any business seeking to provide superior optimization or assurance needs to have technology that scales up whilst remaining agile. TEOCO’s acquisition of PreClarity shows they are conscious of the challenge.
