TM Forum’s Revenue Assurance team has created another revenue assurance (RA) survey to share and discuss insights and trends in RA, and to provide telcos (their RA functions in particular) with paths to achieve their future target stage.
Maturity Self-Assessment
TM Forum has made its Revenue Assurance Maturity Model (RAMM2) available to those who participate in the survey. The overall maturity score as well as selected area scores will be inquired in the survey, which serve again as a valuable source for comparison and correlation analysis.
The survey team has recognized the fast pace of change. Therefore, an additional set of questions around strategic transformation capabilities have been introduced, such as skills, execution, risk management, change management and performance.

Benchmarking Benefits
Since its inception of the RA survey in 2012, the survey questions and the report have been continuously developed further. A light free benchmarking report with focus on RA KPIs will be created again based on most common company profiles. In addition, the team is planning to provide group RA headquarters with the datasets of their opcos, if they coordinate the RAMM maturity assessment and the taking of the survey.
Transformation of Revenue Assurance
To put more emphasis on organizations to become pro-active value creators also outside their the RA core area, TM Forum has recently established business assurance initiative which is a collaborative effort around a principle of free contribution/free deliverables.
