WeDo Becomes Annual Sponsors of RAG

WeDo CEO Rui Paiva spoke in glowing terms about the reasons his business supports the work of the Risk & Assurance Group.

WeDo Technologies, leaders in the revenue assurance and fraud management market, have signed a deal to provide annual sponsorship to the Risk & Assurance Group (RAG), the not-for-profit professional association. WeDo will become a ‘foundation’ sponsor, one of a strictly limited number of businesses providing financial support and advice for all of RAG’s conferences and online activities.

WeDo CEO Rui Paiva (pictured above) issued a statement explaining the decision:

RAG manages to attract and engage the most influential and experienced industry heavyweights – sharing insights and ideas, which are openly discussed and exchanged through its knowledge communication forums.

He went on to say that RAG gives participants the opportunity to “listen and meet the best minds” creating an environment “helping us all develop new thoughts, techniques and tools to predict and counteract risk and fraudulent activity.”

Paiva also elaborated on the benefits of sponsorship:

WeDo Technologies highly acknowledges RAG events as some of the best in exchanging thought leadership and industry networking. Therefore, we are also honored, not only to actively participate in these business occasions, but also sponsor them. We believe this also conveys our belief and commitment in the added value of continuing to set the industry’s benchmark.

RAG Chairman Rob Chapman responded to the good news:

I’m thrilled WeDo agreed to be a foundation sponsor of the Risk & Assurance Group. Our motto is: ‘by the experts, for the experts’ which means we focus on bringing people together, whether they work for a big telco group or a small ISP, are a freelance consultant or a developer in a global software firm like WeDo. WeDo’s sponsorship means RAG is now endorsed by a major supplier of business assurance and fraud management products whose customers include very many telcos worldwide. RAG also hopes to benefit from the advice of WeDo’s expert team of employees. The foundation sponsors are RAG’s long-term partners, and we’re delighted that a market-leading business like WeDo shares our vision of better education and networking for telco risk and assurance professionals.

In November it was announced that Neural Technologies had agreed to be the first foundation sponsor of RAG. Negotiations have begun with several other potential sponsors; more announcements are expected soon.
